The candidates were recommended by a search advisory committee that was comprised of students, faculty, and staff and was chaired by Sharon Pierce, president of Minneapolis College. The candidates are scheduled for open forum presentations on May 20 and 21.

Members of Minnesota State are invited to meet the finalists during their open forums. In addition, students are also invited to attend a student only forum with each finalist.
