Academic Camps
ACES 5th Graders at MSU
ACES is a before + after school program of Community Education and Mankato Area Public Schools, held at each elementary school during the school year. When it’s summer time, ACES is an all day program, held at select schools. For one day the 5th graders attending ACES come to MSU and learn about STEM programming through presentations, tours, and activities. Students must be attending the ACES Summer Program.

Artificial Intelligence Summer Programming Workshop 2025
Dr. Rushit Dave & Dr. Mansi Bhavsar of the Department Computer Information Science at Minnesota State University at Mankato are hosting a three-day workshop focused on artificial intelligence for middle & high school students. Cultivate Curiosity
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Through partnership with the South Central College- Agriculture department & the Minnesota State University, Mankato Engineering Center of Excellence, and the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, pathfinders will be journeying through careers and activities in agriculture and STEM. With an up close and hands on approach, this week is sure to expose your camper to the importance of science and exploration!

Maverick Esports Summer Camp!
Maverick Esports Summer Camp is a gaming and esports experience open to middle and high school students entering grades 6-12. Participants will experience the Esports Facility at Minnesota State University, Mankato and play their favorite games, engage with college players and coaches, learn from special guests, and build skills in the gaming and esports industry. The camp covers topics like streaming and broadcasting, personal branding, health and wellness for esports athletes, training to improve as a gamer, and more. Nitro-X Summer Camp
Nitro-X Summer Camp introduces middle school students to transportation careers through hands-on activities. Hosted by Minnesota State Colleges and High Schools, campers work on RC cars, paint car bodies in professional booths, and tour industry sites. They build technical confidence, teamwork, and job skills. The camp ends with a race where students show off their RC driving skills and compete with friends. Participants must register by May 1, 2025.

Scrubs Camp
Scrubs Camp is a healthcare career exploration program open to any high school student entering grade 9 and exiting grade 12. This is a three-day immersive camp hosted at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and will allow participants to explore the wide world of healthcare in Mankato and surrounding communities.

Transportation Works!
Transportation Works -- Get your Future in Gear is a three day summer camp for students entering grade 9 and exiting grade 12. Tours and hands-on activities allow students to explore and engage in this exciting and rewarding field. Students get the opportunity to learn about transportation careers that include Automotive Technology, Auto Body and Collision Repair, Medium and Heavy Truck Technology, and many more!
