11/20/24 – Full Review. Technical edits throughout and application of new formatting and writing standards. Principles added to the Policy Name. Language added to Part 2 to clarify that the language in part 2 does not apply to college and university affiliated foundations, if there is a signed contract in place between the foundation and the college/university. Additional amendments were made to improve clarity and brevity.

11/16/11 - Effective 1/1/12, the Board of Trustees amends all board policies to change the term "Office of the Chancellor" to "system office," and to make necessary related grammatical changes.

06/18/03 - changes "system office" to "office of the chancellor", provides accountability in Board policy 7.7, Gifts and Grants Acceptance

06/21/00 - Repeals Subpart C of Board policy 7.1.
