Skill Up Minnesota helps job seekers to think about how short-term training at Minnesota State institutions may lead to immediate employment and career advancement. The audience for Skill Up is Minnesotans whose employment is reduced or eliminated because of the COVID-19 pandemic recession.

This website was produced under the name "Skill Up Minnesota" with funding from the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Academic and Student Affairs, and the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act federal grant from the United States Department of Education administered through Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Content does not necessarily represent United States Department of Education policy.
The website is currently sponsored by Minnesota State Workforce Development. Skill Up launched March 15, 2021.
