MNSU Officer Profile

Minnesota State University, Mankato

Course assignments:

  • Careers in Criminal Justice

I have worked in community corrections for 28 years which includes being a Program Manager, Supervisor, Adult Probation/Parole Agent, Juvenile Probation Officer, and Juvenile Corrections Officer.

What is most exciting is that the philosophy, attitudes, and beliefs that once guided criminal justice is changing. The focus is on impact which is helpful in supporting healing, healthy individuals, and healthy communities.

Be open to new learning and ask questions. Value the experiences shared by others.

I do not like the smell of coffee or donuts.
