Background
Enrollments in traditional manufacturing programs are in decline, but in southeastern Minnesota, the need for skilled workers in manufacturing remains. Through the use of innovation funding, Minnesota State College Southeast built a collaborative bicycle project that brings together students from computer aided design (CAD), computer numerical control (CNC) machining, welding, and fabrication.
