Our vision is to empower Minnesota State leadership, campuses, and state and federal agencies with data and insights so they can make informed, transformative, and innovative decisions that create equitable access and opportunities for students to achieve their goals.
What We Do
We support evidence-based and equitable decision making across Minnesota State by transforming data into contextualized information that generates shared knowledge and insights.
Key responsibilities:

Data Reporting: Manage centralized processes for federal, state, and grant data reporting on behalf of Minnesota State colleges and universities.

- System Research: Answer systemwide research questions to support strategic planning, decision-making, and accountability.
- Data-Informed Culture: Create a data-informed culture by sharing knowledge, expertise, and resources throughout Minnesota State.
- Standardized Reporting: Develop consistent, accurate reporting standards across Minnesota State.
- Data Warehousing: Validate, standardize, and expand research capabilities for institutional research staff.
- Community of Practice: Build a network to share expertise in data analysis and research.
