ST. PAUL, Minn., March 20, 2014 - The bonding bill introduced by House Capital Investment Committee Chair Hausman would provide funds for the educational facilities needed to meet the state's workforce needs in high growth fields. We thank Chair Hausman for her work in support of our students and look forward to working with Governor Dayton and House and Senate leaders to advance investment in Minnesota 's higher education infrastructure.
The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities include 24 two-year community, technical, and comprehensive colleges and seven state universities serving more than 430,000 students. It is the fifth-largest higher education system of its kind in the United States.
